This small collection contains the materials collected by Arthur Kamhoot and his family. It concerns the Custer Freight Road, a now abandoned road constructed by the US Army in 1877 after the Battle of Little Bighorn. The road ran from Fort Keogh at Miles City to Fort Custer near Hardine, MT.
