Abstract
Arlyne Reichert was a 1972 Constitutional Convention delegate from Cascade County. Reichert served on the Legislative Committee and worked to gain support for a unicameral legislature. She served as a legislator in the 46th Montana Legislative Assembly from 1979 to 1981. The Armington Mercantile Company was managed by John T. Athey from its opening in June 1890 until 1896. The store continued operating under different management for many years afterwards. The collection consists of incoming correspondence (1892, 1894-1895); letterpress books (1890-1895) of outgoing correspondence; financial records (1884-1898); and minor court and legal documents; Also included is a summary of Mr. Athey's Civil War service record from West Virginia.
