Bower Brothers Sheep Company records
The Bower Brothers Sheep Company, located near Stanford, Montana, was one of the largest sheep operation in Montana. The owners, Authur Bower, Edward Bower, and Calvin Bower, operated the firm from 1880 to 1907. This collection (1880-1907) consists of correspondence; a land book; and two volumes listing number of sheep, losses, purchases, sales, pounds of wool, pelts sold, and the name of the herder.

Brady Mercantile Company records
The Brady Mercantile Company, owned by T.N. Quamme and his son Gilmore Quamme, was located in Brady, Montana. This collection (1910-1950) contains correspondence, financial records, and inventories of the company. In addition there are subgroups for Gilmore Quamme's insurance business; for T.N. Quamme's legislative files (1931, 1933); and for the Pondera County Emergency Relief Committee.

James Sanks Brisbin papers
James Brisbin, a Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, native, served as an Army officer in the Civil War and the Indian Wars, 1868-1891. He was stationed at Fort Ellis, Fort Assiniboine, Fort Custer, Montana Territory, and many other western forts. Brisbin was also a writer and publicist. The collection contains a small amount of correspondence (1860-1890), and writings (1850-1891) concerning the Army, the Indian Wars, the West, and Montana Territory.
