Content Description
83 black and white photographic prints with views of two women and two men traveling through Montana by train as well additional travel photos of the Northwest United States and parts of Canada. Photographs collected by Rosa "Belle" St. Martin (later Bowman) of Minneapolis, Minnesota and removed from an album prior to donation. Views include a summer journey by train through Montana by Belle and three companions, Frank Bowman, Otto, and Elair. Montana locations include Miles City, Gardiner, Three Forks, Butte, and Missoula. Additional views include: Suquamish, Washington; Seattle, Washington; Spokane, Washington; Mount Rainier in Washington; Portland, Oregon; Victoria, British Columbia; and Vancouver, British Columbia. Lucille Riley and her family are identified in Suquamish views. Additional unidentified locations and people.
