Cass Gilbert Papers
Cass Gilbert, a well known Montana architect, and designer of the Montana Club in Helena. His papers (1902-1910) include incoming and outgoing correspondence, legal documents, sketches, blueprints, schedules, and miscellany.
Guide to the F. Jay Haynes Architectural Drawings collection
This collection consists of approximately 300 architectural drawings. Most of the drawings are of proposed and approved hotels and residences for Yellowstone National Park, circa 1890-1830. About 80% of these drawings and blueprints are by architect, Robert C. Reamer. Drawings depict from building elevations to plans for windows and doors inside the buildings.

The records of the Historic American Building Survey and Historic American Engineering Record document achievements in architecture, engineering, and design in Montana through a comprehensive range of building types and engineering technologies including examples as diverse as the Pioneer Historic District, Isaac Eddy Ranch, Hamilton Post Office, Pine Creek Bridge, and the Hauser Hydroelectric Facility.

Link and Haire, Architects, was a firm founded by J.G. Link and Charles Haire that designed public and private buildings throughout Montana, including jails, courthouses, schools, hotels, etc. Records (1904-1926) include correspondence about architectural jobs, Scottish Rite Freemasonry, and social life; court papers; and miscellany.

Montana Modern Architecture Oral History Project
Modernist Architects Working in Montana Oral History Project (2011) Five oral histories sponsored by SHPO interviewing Montana-based architects discussing their years working in the field in the state. All interviews were conducted by Suzanne Julin. The five interviews provided by Willard Johnson, Paul Schofield, Joe Campeau, Martin Crennan, and Leonard Sundell.
Montana State Capitol Commission records
The Montana State Board of Examiners served ex officio as the Montana State Capitol Commission to oversee the planning and construction of the state capitol building. Records consist of correspondence (1895-1903); minutes (1895-1902, 1909-1912); an agreement (1909) for the construction of new wings; a history and description (1917) of the building; a listing and description of the paintings in the building; and a visitors' register (July 4, 1902) for the dedication ceremony.
