The Anaconda Central Labor Council was a combined body of representatives of various local trade unions in the Anaconda, Montana, area. The Council represented a merger of the Deer Lodge County Trades and Labor Council and the Anaconda Building Trades Congress. The collection (1899-1943) consists of general correspondence; financial records; legal documents; and minutes.

The Black Pine Silver Mines, Inc. was a silver mining company in the Philipsburg, Montana, area. Records (1924, 1932-1942, 1946) include general correspondence, financial records, court papers, legal documents, and miscellany. Also included are records from the predecessor company, the Black Pine Mines, Inc., and a smaller subgroup for Combination Silver Mines, Inc., which bought the Black Pine property in 1936. Thomas H. Irvine (1845-1926) was sheriff of Custer and Ravalli counties and U.S. deputy marshal. Papers (1879-1926) include correspondence, personal diaries, lists of wanted criminals, court papers, and account books. There are also several reminiscences on "Big Nose George" Parrott, the Battle of the Little Big Horn, the Kansas Jayhawkers, and Irvine's journey across the plains (1864)

John Lucas was mine superintendent of the Granite-BiMetallic Consolidated Mining Company and other mining operations in the Philipsburg, Montana, area. Papers (1903-1916) include general correspondence with Paul A. Fusz, Charles D. McLure, and others about the operation of the mines. There are also materials on the Montana Democratic Party and the United Confederate Veterans.
