Idora Z. Smith Guthrie diaries
This collection consists of diaries (1877-1937) kept by Idora Guthrie describing her daily life, family, activities, teaching career, mining and homesteading experiences, sales career, etc. Also included are two unidentified diaries (1871-1872), and miscellaneous clippings.

Edward Mattox (1880-1894) was a Roundup, Montana, coal mine operator and owner of the K7 Ranch near Bozeman. Papers (1906-1948) consist of correspondence, financial and production records, and legal documents of Mattox, the Roundup Coal Mining Company, and the K7 Ranch.

The Melville Mercantile Company was a wholesale and retail general merchandise and agricultural equipment store in Melville, Montana. Records (1893-1902) include account ledgers, day books, and a general journal.

Miller Brothers, Inc. Records
Miller Brothers, Inc. was a Chinook, Cleveland, and Lloyd, Montana, sheep and cattle ranch operated by Henry G. Miller, his brother Chris D. Miller, and G.T. "Ted" Westin, son-in-law of Chris Miller. Records (1894-1966) include general correspondence, court papers, legal documents, and financial records documenting the operation of the ranch; and materials on the First National Bank of Chinook, which the Millers helped organize in 1909.
Milner Cattle Company records
The Milner ranch was located near Fort Benton, Montana, by Milton E. Milner. After his death in 1913 the ranch was incorporated as the Milner Cattle Company. Records (1913-1933) consist of two volumes of incorporation papers, bylaws, stockholder and directors minutes, and financial reports.
John H. Ming papers
John H. Ming (1831-1887) was a Helena, Montana Territory, rancher and theater owner. Collection includes family correspondence (1859-1887); financial records (1852-1887); legal documents (1852-1895); subject files about Ming's Opera House and the Park Ditch Company; and subgroup for Katherine Cole Ming.
