Andy Olin papers, 1888-1931
George A. Bruffey papers
George Bruffey (1842-1928) was a Livingston, Montana, rancher, Fish Creek general mercantile store owner, and Butte miner. His papers (1863-1928) include business records (1871-1889) for the George A. Bruffey Mercantile Company, and the Fish Creek Stage Station. Also included are drafts of his autobiography, Eighty-one Years in the West; diaries and writings; and miscellaneous correspondence.

The records of the Butte Teachers' Union No. 332, consist of general correspondence (1913, 1934-1945); financial records (1936-1945, 1961-1964); organizational records (undated); reports (1937, 1941); subject files (1934-1945); and miscellany. Frank C. Mischel letters
This collection (1938-1939) consists of four letters written by Frank C. Mischel, while he lived in Butte, Montana, to Erna Anderson of Dickinson, North Dakota. The letters discuss the living and working conditions in Butte during the Great Depression era, and include descriptions of boarding house costs, meal costs, jobs available, local entertainment, as well as Mischel’s opinions towards his fellow workers and women in Butte.

Joseph Kinsey Howard (1906-1951) was a Great Falls, Montana, author, newspaperman, and historian. The collection (1927-1954) consists of correspondence about the publication of his books, various subject files on professional activities such as the Montana Study, and research files for his articles and books, especially for Strange Empire about the Metis.

Records of the International Association of Machinists, Lodge 88 (Butte, Montana) include general correspondence (1943-1953, 1967, 1969); financial records (1937-1970), including membership information; legal documents (1937-1960), consisting of labor agreements with employers; minutes (1915-1921, 1943-1959); reports (1944, 1947); subject files (1966-1967) pertaining to The Anaconda Company; and miscellany. Albert B. and Hilma Hanson Kimball Family papers
Albert Kimball worked as a station agent for the Northern Pacific Railway in Butte and Missoula, Montana, from 1904 through 1937. His wife Hilma Kimball was the daughter of Peter Hanson and Anna Gustafsen Hanson. Collection consists of papers of three generations of the Kimball and Hanson families, from 1864 to 1957.

This is an artificial collection containing handbooks, pamphlets and booklets from various Montana labor unions. Booklets include Constitutions, Bylaws, Trade Rules, Agreements, Welfare plans, and more. Dates range from 1895 to 1995.
Lewis Rudolph interview
Lewis Rudolph interview conducted by Ellie Arguimbau. Mr. Rudolph discusses his parents' emigration from Russia and settling in Butte; Kalman Rudolph's found of the furniture business; Lew's work after school at the store driving a delivery truck; his service as a gunner on a B-17 bomber in Europe during World War II; his return to Butte; his membership in the Baron de Hirsch Lodge of the B'nai B'rith and in Congregation B'nai Israel; and the Jewish community in Butte.
