Freda Beazley was a member of the Assiniboine Tribe of Fort Peck Reservation, Montana. She served as vice president of the National Congress of American Indians; president of the Affiliated Tribes of the Northwest; and rural area coordinator, Montana State Office of Economic Opportunity.
