Hans L. Bille papers
This collection consists of materials accumulated by Hans L. Bille during his tenure as Montana's surface water rights coordinator. Subject files (1938, 1962-1968, undated) relate to the Flathead Irrigation Project, the "Fort Belknap Indian Irrigation District", and the Tongue River Project. Miscellany (1955, 1971, undated) consists of a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation annual project report history for the Milk River Project, and various documents relating to Montana water law and rights.

Two black and white photographic prints, one is a real photo postcard of hangar number 2 at the Billings, Montana airport and one is a photograph of a sign depicting various cattle brands of Montana, unknown location. Photographs likely date from 1930s to 1940s.

The Black Pine Silver Mines, Inc. was a silver mining company in the Philipsburg, Montana, area. Records (1924, 1932-1942, 1946) include general correspondence, financial records, court papers, legal documents, and miscellany. Also included are records from the predecessor company, the Black Pine Mines, Inc., and a smaller subgroup for Combination Silver Mines, Inc., which bought the Black Pine property in 1936.
