This collection consists of papers (1966-1991) relating to Margaret Davis' activities as a member of the Committee on Appointive Judiciary, Women's Lobby Fund, Montana Committee for the Humanities, and the League of Women Voters for which she was a member of the national board; the preservation of historic buildings in Helena, Montana; and her bid for the state legislature in 1974.

Abstract Dorothy Norene Eck (1924-2017) was a 1972 Constitutional Convention delegate from Gallatin County, Montana. Eck served on the Bill of Rights Committee and worked on “right to know” and “right to participate.” During the late 1970s, she served as the State-Local coordinator—the first woman in Montana to be appointed to high office.
