Abstract

The Montana Disaster and Emergency Services Division was organized within the Department of Military Affairs. Records (1973-1982) include draft policy statements, local government resolutions, damage assessments, cost evaluations, correspondence, and miscellany, all concerning the agency's response to local floods, winter storms, grasshopper infestations, and other disasters.
