Alice Gold and Silver Mining Company records
The Alice Gold and Silver Mining Company was a gold and silver mining operation in Walkerville, Montana. Its headquarters were in Salt Lake City, Utah. The records consist primarily of letterpress volumes of outgoing correspondence from Walkerville mine superintendents to Salt Lake City company officials. Also included are organizational materials, financial records, productions records, and legal files.

American Flag Mine photographs
Two black and white photographic prints with views of two men identified as Murphy and Hichen along with a dog named Major at the American Flag Mine site near Elliston, Montana. First view is of both men standing on either side of an ore cart at the mine shaft opening for the American Flag Mine, Major the dog is seated on the cart. The second view is of the men sitting on either side of the door to a crude log cabin, Major the dog sits in a chair to the left.

Also included are records from the predecessor company, the Black Pine Mines, Inc., and a smaller subgroup for Combination Silver Mines, Inc., which bought the Black Pine property in 1936. The collection (1897-1922) consists primarily of letterpress volumes of outgoing correspondence and a stock certificate book. Brophy's letters discuss both his personal interests and investments, and those of his firm, P.J. Brophy and Co.
