This collection contains materials from the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks (1901-1991). This collection has been intellectually integrated into one Record Group, RS 497, to help facilitate access and reduce redundancy in the Montana Historical Society (MTHS) catalog. Abstract John E. Erickson was the Governor of Montana from 1924 until 1933, and a U.S. Senator from 1933 to 1934. Collection (1883-1958) consists of correspondence, speeches, subject files, scrapbooks, clippings, photographs, and miscellaneous mementos. Abstract

This collection consists of approximately 300 architectural drawings. Most of the drawings are of proposed and approved hotels and residences for Yellowstone National Park, circa 1890-1830. About 80% of these drawings and blueprints are by architect, Robert C. Reamer. Drawings depict from building elevations to plans for windows and doors inside the buildings.

Abstract Cornelius Hedges (1831-1907) was a pioneer, miner and attorney who lived in Helena, Montana. This collection consists primarily of diaries (1849-1857, 1863-1893, 1906-1907), covering his education at Yale College, his travel to Montana Territory in 1864 via the Bridger Cutoff trail, and his participation in the Washburn-Doane Expedition of 1870 to what became Yellowstone Park.
