This collection consists of business and personal papers of William Seltz, a Missoula County, Montana, farmer and apple grower. There is a major subgroup (1920-1934) for the Missoula Orchards Company, for which Seltz was an officer, director, and farm manager.

John Sheffels (1903-1963) was a Cascade County, Montana, wheat farmer and owner of Sheffels Farms, Inc. He served on the Farm Credit Board, the Montana Grain Producers Association, the Cascade County Wheat Production Control Association, and the State Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA). Collection (1910-1968) includes correspondence, speeches, publications, and subject files concerning wheat production, farming innovations, government agricultural programs, etc.

D.W. Tilton (1839-1919) was a Virginia City, Montana, newspaper publisher and book store owner. Collection (1851-1976) includes correspondence, financial records, legal documents, photographs, writings, and clippings. There are subgroups for the O.B. Clarence Tooley (1873-1918) was a Harlowton and Two Dot, Montana, banker, ranch investor, real estate and insurance agent. Collection (1884-1950) includes correspondence, financial records, and subject files for the Bank of Wheatland County; the Two Dot Land and Livestock Company; Tooley, Baxter and Tice Bankers; and the Golden Valley Land Company. His wife Harriet Waldorf Tooley (1877-1955) continued to operate the businesses after his death in 1918.

Abstract Dola Wilson owned the Range Rider Bar and Cafe in Miles City. This collection (undated, 1940s-1950s) consists of notes and biographical sketches concerning the local cowboys, or "Range Riders", which were collected and recorded for Wilson by his associate Charles Boucher.
