The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization. Records (1921-1989) of the Montana branch include general correspondence arranged by president; financial records; minutes; organizational materials; reports to the national office; subject files; miscellany; and clippings. There are also records for local branches of the League around the state.

This collection consists of board minutes (1985-2014), legislative files (1984-2013), correspondence and general administrative files, general subject files (1980s-1992), and financial records for the Montana Women's Lobby and it's predecessor the Women's Lobbyist Fund. Subject files include topics such as abortion, veteran's preference, Women's Lobby history, comparable worth, insurance, and taxation.
