Albert B. and Hilma Hanson Kimball Family papers
Albert Kimball worked as a station agent for the Northern Pacific Railway in Butte and Missoula, Montana, from 1904 through 1937. His wife Hilma Kimball was the daughter of Peter Hanson and Anna Gustafsen Hanson. Collection consists of papers of three generations of the Kimball and Hanson families, from 1864 to 1957.

This collection contains six letters regarding a 1917 coal mining strike at the No. 2 mine in Klein, Montana. There are two copies of a letter written by the Klein Local No. 915 to the directors of the Republic Coal Company concerning agreement violations and includes a list of demands by the workers. There are also four letters written to Montana Congresswoman, Jeanette Rankin, asking for assistance regarding the strike.

Charles Kuhlman Research Collection : Battle of the Little Big Horn
Charles Kuhlman (1873-1959) was a sugar beet farmer and amateur historian from Billings, Montana. Papers consist of general correspondence (1936-1959) concerning his research into the Battle of the Little Big Horn (1876) and George Armstrong Custer; drafts of his writings; miscellany; and clippings. Many of the letters also reflect his farming business and his interest in foreign policy.
