Hum Fay, et al. vs. Baldwin, et al. records
Hum Fay, et al. vs. Frank Baldwin, et al. was heard in U.S. Ninth Circuit Court, District of Montana, in 1898. The records consist of four volumes of testimony concerning the alleged boycott (December 1896-April 1897) of Chinese and Japanese business establishments in Butte, Montana and those employing Orientals.
Hussey, Dahler and Company records
Hussey, Dahler and Company was a Salt Lake City, Utah-based bank with branches in Helena and Virginia City, Montana Territory. Records consist of incoming correspondence (1866-1873, 1876) to both the Helena and Virginia City offices dealing with banking transactions, gold trading, and other matters. There are also minor financial items.
I.B. Mining Company records
The I.B. Mining Company, located at Bannack, Montana, was a gold mining operation incorporated in 1929 by I.B. Haviland, Carl Becker, and C.W. Stalling. In 1931 the company began quartz mining of low-grade gold ore. Collection includes incoming, outgoing, and interoffice correspondence (1929-1933) relating to the operation of the company; plus lesser amounts of financial records, organizational records, etc. The company went bankrupt in 1933.

International Association of Machinists, Lodge 88 (Butte, Montana) records
Records of the International Association of Machinists, Lodge 88 (Butte, Montana) include general correspondence (1943-1953, 1967, 1969); financial records (1937-1970), including membership information; legal documents (1937-1960), consisting of labor agreements with employers; minutes (1915-1921, 1943-1959); reports (1944, 1947); subject files (1966-1967) pertaining to The Anaconda Company; and miscellany. [Artifacts have been transferred to the Museum.]
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 65
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers records (1917) Collection includes three IBEW contracts with three different companies in the Butte area: Montana Power Company; Butte, Anaconda & Pacific Railway Company; and The Butte Electrica Railway Company (also includes agreement with Local Union 200). Contracts all created in the months following the Anaconda Mining Company Speculatro Mine Disaster, a time of much unrest between labor unions and companies in the Butte area.
International Hotel records
The International Hotel was built in Helena, Montana Territory, in 1868 by Judge J.B. Stuart. The hotel had a succession of owners, starting with G. Jules Germain, until it closed in 1922. Records consist of thirteen guest registers (1868-1895) and a cash book (1881-1884).
