Biographical Note
Frank Odasz was born in Cody, Wyoming in 1952. In 1963, he moved to Mountain View, California and graduated from University of California- Davis in 1974. After graduation, he returned to Wyoming and worked as a dude rancher. In 1982, he graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Masters in Instructional Technology and began a career in information technology. His work took him around the American West, training teachers, Indigenous communities, and others in how to connect to the Bulletin Board System (BBS), an early form of the Public Internet, predating the launch of the World Wide Web.
