Migrant-Farmworkers Project interviews
Summary
This composite consists of 28 interviews with Hispanic migrant farmworkers employed in Forsyth, Terry, Sidney, Hysham, Crane, Hardin, Fairview, and the Flathead Valley. The interviewees describe: working conditions; families; housing; education; various employers; wages; language difficulties; harvesting sugar beets, cherries, cucumbers, and other crops. [Rural Employment Opportunities, Inc., contracted this project. Some interviews are in Spanish, all transcripts are in English.]
