He specifically discusses the passing of Charles Bovey and Sue Bovey's taking over managment; the beginnings of the Virginia City Trading Company in the 1940s; the first manager Martin Bovey; the role of Galusha, Higgin, and Galusha, an acocunting firm from Helena; the business running in the red for many years and why; the Star Bakery and the cook , Ann Espey; Internal Revenue Service suggestions concerning profitability; hiring J. Midyette and the changes he brought to the company; name change to Bovey Restorations; other managers including Bruce McCallum, Nancy Mittman, David Hoffman; the railroad and the railroad museum; his recollections of the day Charlie Bovey died; and feelings about the state purchase of Virginia City/Nevada City.
