Content Description

One black and white stereoview of Oglala Lakota and possibly Cheyenne prisoners from the Battle of Slim Buttes in front of a teepee. One of the prisoners is identified as Charging Bear. Two military officers bookend the prisoners, identified as the officers in command of the charge. The recaptured 7th Cavalry Regiment guidon from Company I also visible. Verso includes lists of Class 1 and Class 2 stereoviews by Morrow. The description for this image: "No. 27 - Buckskin Lodge, Sioux prisoners, Gen.
