Biographical / Historical

James T. Robison was born March 22, 1887 in Elma, MN. He came to Choteau, MT in 1909 where he joined his brothers in the Teton County Abstract Co. He married Susie Jane Crandall in 1912. He was a member of the Royal Arch Masons Chapter No. 25, Choteau Lodge No. 44 AF&AM, Bethany Commandery No. 19 and a patron of O.E.S. He passed away August 24, 1972. Mary Ellen Faulstich (nee Robison) was born February 8, 1918 in Choteau to James T. and Suzie Robison. She graduated from Choteau High and a 1941 graduate of the University of Montana. She married John Edward Faulstich in Choteau in 1939. In 1940 she gave birth to Jean Eleanor She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star. She passed away May 14, 1987. John Edward Faulstich was born February 17, 1914 in Anaconda, MT. He graduated from Missoula County High School in 1932 and from the University of Montana in 1938 with a degree in chemistry. He worked as a chemist during the early part of World War II and became a certified eletrician during the 1940s. He retired as the assistant manager of the switch room at Mountain Bell in Missoula in 1979. He worked for Demolay for may years and was given the Legion of Honor. He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge for 50 years and was a 33rd degree mason of the Scottish Rite. He was past presidnet of the Missoula electical union Local 408, a member of the telephone Pioneers in Missoula. He passed away January 22, 1988.
