The Conservation and Resource Development Division records consists primarily of the grant and loan project files which the DNRC’s CARDD administers through the three separate bureaus. The majority of the project files represent a variety of grant and loan programs the DNRC participated in, including RDG (Reclamation and Development Grants), RRG / RRGL (Renewable Resource Grants and Loans), CDG (Conservation District Grants), RIL (Range Improvement Loans) and WDL (Private Water Development Loans), IDG (Irrigation Development Loan), SRF (State Revolving Fund Loans), RIT (Resource Indemnity Trust Loans), and HB 223 Loans. The project files, themselves, are similar in content, and generally include: grant or loan application; application analysis and eligibility; correspondence; progress report; photos, maps or diagrams; overall project costs. Projects files may also include case files related to suits, public hearings files, pollution levels and site analysis related materials, as well as ****A small number of administrative files are interspersed among the project files. These are indicated in folder title and are primarily CARDD financial administrator’s correspondence files. Small financial claim forms (receipts and invoices) were removed while aggregate budgeting and financing information was kept. A small sampling of administrative grant (CDA) files was kept.
