This collection was not originally processed separately by Division - it contains records of multiple PSC Divisions and its predecessor agency, the Board of Railroad Commissioners. This collection consists of records collected and created by the Montana Public Service Commission and the Montana Board of Railroad Commissioners. The records primarily document the activities of what is now the Transportation Division, but was previously the Board of Railroad Comissioners. These activities include collecting quarterly income reports from motor carriers and conducting hearings regarding transportation related issues. The remainder of the records consist of minutes from the Public Service Commission meetings for the entire year of 1978. Materials include minutes, reports, and legal filings.
