This collection consists of the records of the Montana Executive Reorganization Commission and includes general correspondence (1969-1970); interoffice correspondence (1969-1973) between members of the Commission and its staff; legal documents (1969-1970); legislative materials (1970-1971, undated); minutes (1969-1971); reports (1970-1973); speeches and writings (1971, undated); subject files (1969-1973), including the executive reorganization surveys, reorganization implementation plans, and recodification needs, all arranged alphabetically by agency or department; and miscellany. Printed material and artifacts have been transferred to the Library and Museum respectively. Sound recordings of Commission meetings and public hearings have been transferred to the Archives Sound Recording Collection.
