247 black and white photographic prints, 230 black and white safety negatives on 35 mm film, 58 black and white safety negatives on 120 roll film. VThe collection contains architectural photographs of 22 Montana and Idaho towns taken or collected by Willard B. Robinson between 1959-1960 for his thesis, "Northwest Architecture, 1843-1893." Views include houses and buildings in the following cities and towns in Montana: Anaconda, Bannack, Boulder, Bozeman, Butte, Castle, Deer Lodge, Elkhorn, Garnet, Helena, Livingston, Missoula, Nevada City, Pioneer, Virginia City, and White Sulphur Springs. Additional views include houses, buildings and bridges in the following cities and towns in Idaho: Boise, Cataldo, Hansen, Pocatello, Silver City and Twin Falls.
