Lists of Water Right Decrees by county and correspondence of the State Engineer concerning the decrees and miscellaneous records, including a folder on "Abandonment or Forfeiture of Water Rights," photostatic copies of "How It's Done: Water Resources Survey" [oversize], a report entitled "geography and Natural Resources of Montana" written by Missoula professor J.P. Rowe, "Plans and Specifications, Bitter Root Irrigation District", the annual report of the State Water Conservation Board, and a folder containing "write-ups on irrigated lands in Montana" in the 1930s. Water Right Decree lists and correspondence arranged alphabetically by county, miscellaneous records arranged alphabetically by folder title.
