The Montana Relief Commission administered welfare programs and disbursement of federal relief funds to county organization. Records (1919-1954, bulk 1933-1937) consist of commission minutes and administrative reports; attorney's correspondence files; and water conservation staff correspondence files and staff reports, county case files (including large county maps), and a number of miscellaneous files.
